Nadine qualified in 2012 from the University of Dundee and took over La Belle Dental Clinic in August 2022 with co-owner Shahad Al-Dabbagh. Previously she worked as an associate dentist based in Fife for over 10 years; laterally concentrating in fully private practice. She is passionate about building a strong patient base and providing excellent care.

She provides high end treatments including tooth straightening, crowns and veneers, smile makeovers and composite bonding.

Although her hometown is Kirkcaldy, she is enjoying working in a different city and has nurtured strong relationships with La Belle’s patients.

She has a passion for educating patients about their oral health and making them feel at ease; using distraction techniques or music to help patients feel calm. (You’ll need some earphones during longer treatments as she’s well known to have a sing a long!)

Shahad lives just outside Dundee and has been qualified as a dentist since 2020; prior to this she qualified with an Honours Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the same University.

With a passion for digital dentistry and a remarkable attention to detail, Shahad brings a wealth of innovative ideas to the practice, augmenting its existing core values and traditions.

Shahad is one of the new owners of La Belle with Nadine Al-Farhan; having taken over in August 2022.

Ahmed graduated with a BDS from the University of Glasgow in 2013. He completed his training with the BAIRD Academy in 2018 and has since completed further postgraduate training in the field of implant surgery which has given him the skills to work on complex cases where minimal to large bone grafting may be required.

Ahmed provides Implant treatment for people who are missing single, multiple, or entire spans of teeth. He's also undertaken courses and has the experience to provide immediate implants with teeth the same day. He is delighted to be help people with their ability to chew, talk and, most importantly, smile by replacing teeth.

Ahmed has a relaxed demeanour and strives finds ways to simplify things to help his patients understand exactly what he can do for them. He pushes to achieve a great outcome for his patients while also providing a relaxing atmosphere.

When not restoring smiles and oral function and health, he can be found in the kitchen cooking and baking and occasionally playing guitar if he's not binging on a good TV series.

Hannah qualified from the University of Dundee in 2020; working in Fife for a year before moving to La Belle Court in August 2021. Throughout this time, she has enjoyed providing a wide range of treatments and building good relationships with patients. She also finds working with anxious patients particularly rewarding.

Outside of work she likes to keep active, Hannah has a black belt in Karate and has recently started Crossfit; going to classes 3/4 times a week.
Eilidh Watson Dentist

Eilidh lives in Dunfermline and worked in a well-known practice there for 8 years before joining the La Belle team in 2021. Since qualifying from the University of Dundee, she has enjoyed the variety general practice brings as well as building good relationships with her patients.

Eilidh was a vocational trainer of newly qualified dentists from 2018 - 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed this role. Eilidh is passionate about providing high quality dentistry and has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. In recent years, Eilidh has invested heavily in further learning and now has post-graduate certificates in both restorative dentistry and orthodontics. This, along with being qualified in facial aesthetic treatments, means she can take a full-face approach to help her patients achieve their goals, whether it be functional or cosmetic. Eilidh has recently returned from maternity leave after having her little boy and is delighted to be back working alongside such a fantastic team.

Qualifying in 1980 as a Dental Hygienist from Dundee Dental School, and prior to that being a dental nurse I’ve been working in the field of dentistry for more than 40 years. I still retain total enthusiasm, combined now with many years of experience.

The biggest changes during my time in the dental field has been in the decontamination procedures. I sometimes wonder how our patients every survived the old regime.

The other thing I’m passionate about is skiing I have skied since I was at school, have made many friends through skiing and have visited many European resorts. I Taught my daughter to ski - she is now more skilled than me and helped teach a friend’s son who was in the Winter Olympics last year. The biggest change in skiing is the sophistication of the equipment. I learnt on cable bindings!

My life motto is to enjoy life whether in work or play.

I have been working as a hygienist for many years now and looking back to when I first qualified, there were very few of us around and Scotland’s oral health was in a dire situation. Today, although there is still plenty work still to be done, we have come a long way. Educating patients in prevention and maintenance is a key role for the hygienist and when the patient comes on board, and we then work in partnership to get the optimum result for that individual patient then this makes the job more worthwhile.

Joining La Belle’s team gave me the opportunity to qualify as a Dental Nurse at the Edinburgh college, completing the SVQ level 3 and 7 diploma in Dental Nursing. Originally, I am from the Philippines but have been living in Edinburgh for over 15 years. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry and I am also passionate about patients receiving the best care possible and helping them feel at ease.

I have enhanced my dental nursing skills by attending a post qualification in Dental Radiology, Implants and Impression taking.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I am an active member of the local Church. I also take pleasure in sports like volleyball, badminton as well as long walks and travelling. One thing I would love to do in the future, would be to go back to the Philippines and help educate children in Oral Hygiene, as it is difficult for most of them to access dental care due to the remote areas, they live in.

Gemma is a new addition to our team; having worked with our principal dentist Nadine over the last few years.

Gemma lives in Fife and has been working there as a dental nurse since 2009; gaining her NEBDN National Certification in Dental Nursing in 2011. She is currently working towards her Radiology Certification.

Gemma has a host of experience and has a warm friendly approach to our patients.

She is very talented; outside of work she creates resin artwork for her own business (Handmade Gems) and is mum to a wee Jack Russell called Ruby.

Rhiannon joined the team in June 2022. Previously, she worked as a trainee dental nurse in Dunfermline for 2.5 years where she qualified and gained valuable knowledge and skills.

She enjoys working in surgery, helping patients, and also helping on reception. She is very keen to expand her skills in dental nursing and has completed a post qualification in Dental Radiology. Most recently she is working alongside our implant dentist Ahmed as his implant nurse.

Rhiannon enjoys taking part in the 24 hour relay for life in Dalgety Bay, this raises money for cancer research meaning there is always a charity event she is attending or helping to organise.

I joined La Belle Court in August 2015 as a trainee dental nurse. I attended Edinburgh College for a full-time course in Dental Nursing in 2014/2015, and qualified and registered with the General Dental Council in 2015. I enjoy working in surgery with the dental team as well as assisting on reception with a strong background in customer service.

I have completed and been awarded a BDA Education Dental Radiology Certificate and a further course in practice management. I hope to continue furthering my career in dentistry by doing extended duties with La Belle. In the meantime, I am very busy with my 3 beautiful children! I am originally from South Africa and speak English and Afrikaans. I enjoy reading, listening to music, going on long walks and spending time with my family.

Ruby worked as receptionist in a private clinic in Fife before deciding she wanted to become more hands-on in-patient care. She is friendly and caring with excellent communication skills. She has completed courses in Treatment Co-ordination, digital scanning, and communication techniques.

Ruby is the bridge between dentists and their patients, assisting in the gathering of information as well as coordinating the treatment plan and presenting them to patients.

Ruby has a beautiful baby girl Penny and a gorgeous red Labrador Koda; keeping her extra busy at home! She’s a big foodie - loves cooking at home trying out different recipes and enjoys a weekend meal out. If you have any recommendations make sure to let her know!

Lesley is our longest standing practice member! Formerly a fully qualified and experienced dental nurse, she joined Q Court in 2008 as our part time dental receptionist.

She takes pride in putting patient care to the forefront of her working day.

Lesley is married, has grown up twin daughters and enjoys keeping fit...but when not on a treadmill she does enjoy relaxing with a nice chilled glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.

Melanie Kalinowski Receptionist

I moved to Scotland in 2016 and joined the practice in 2021 as a dental nurse. Due to personal reasons, I needed to leave in 2022 but I returned to the practice in November 2023 as a receptionist. I have a passion for working in Dentistry and seeing a smile on our patient's faces. I am very organized and pick up new things very quickly. I am looking forward to meeting and welcoming new patients joining the practice.

In my private life, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son. I love swimming, going to the gym and I'm taking part in an 11-mile swim challenge in 2024. I also like to read whenever I have a free minute. I own over 900 hardbacks of fantasy and young adult books and have a great collection of very special editions.
